Today's Standard deck is a deck I just had to play, Yorion Dimir Control! Yorion Dimir Control is an 80-card control deck chock full of removal like Bloodchief's Thirst and Heartless Act. We've also got plenty of counterspells such as Jwari Disruption and Neutralize. These help in the early-to-midgame to take down opposing threats before winning the late game with cards like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Ashiok, Nightmare Muse. If the battlefield gets out of control you can use Extinction Event to clear it. Card advantage and selection comes in the form of the fantastic Mazemind Tome, even helping you gain some much-needed life. Yorion, Sky Nomad is there as a finisher and also to create some extra value.
