With the MTG Arena Open now up and active, I decided to enter it with an updated version of Mono-White Devotion!
This is your typical Mono-White aggro deck with the devotion theme added on essentially for free! We have a few essential one-drops in Alseid of Life's Bounty and Selfless Savior. These two can apply early pressure, as well as help to protect the more important cards in our strategy. We've also got a few copies of Lurrus of the Dream-Den to help bring back these useful one-drops. We've got staple White devotion cards in Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and Linden, the Steadfast Queen, who in combination can gain us an absurd amount of life. Thanks to Zendikar Rising, we've got a few new inclusions in Skyclave Apparition, Luminarch Aspirant, Maul of the Skyclaves, and Legion Angel. Legion Angel is a particularly sneaky card, as it allows us to skirt around the Best-of-One format restrictions, essentially giving us an extra three cards!
